The licensing price includes a complete set of the designers plans for this boat, as well as the CNC files and assembly drawings from us. (The paper plans will be mailed to you separately)
From the design table of award winning South African designer Dudley Dix , the Pratique 35 is a robust go anywhere yacht. She has traditional styling with modern hull shape for the best of two worlds. The kit was created by metalboatkits.com, under designer supervision. The kit consists of approximately 300 pre-cut pieces. Including all hull plates, fuel and water tanks, rudder, cabin, cockpit, stringers, frames, chain plates, and propane lockers. ( All steel work that can be cut from plate )
This kit employs the Dutch “frame-less fairing” style of construction. The hull plates are assembled in a cradle that can be used to lift the plates into position as well. Once the plates are positioned and tacked , the internals are placed. Then the deck and cabin are dropped on. This is one of the easiest ways to build a boat, and our kit makes it even easier.
Cradle: The CNC Kit contains all the plate alignment components that can be cut from plate, and assembly drawings for the cradle as well. The customer supplies the angle irons and tubing that can be purchased locally to you.
