The LC8.49 can be built with or without the cabin needing no modifications to the hull. We currently have two cabin options available: a simple Utility Cab, and a Medium Sized Cabin, with more options to come: We plan to offer a Full-Width Cabin with front door access as well as a Military Launch version with Aft Helm and Jockey Seating for 6 crewman forward. Other possibilities include Patrol Craft layouts etc. Contact Us to discuss your needs.
The LC8.49 is a 8.49 meter/27.75 foot Landing Craft kit using “Grillage” type construction for the strongest possible boat. Grillage construction also means incredibly fast build times with all the parts arriving ready to go directly onto the boat with little to no pre-assembly required. These boats can go together in days. Perfect for production and military builders where labor-reduction and super fast build times are critical.
As our world becomes smaller the demand to access more remote areas increases. This is where a Landing Craft can be the perfect boat allowing delivery of materials, supplies, and small vehicle to remote off-grid locations.
